I'm nether the most religious person, nor am I the most knowledgeable. I do however now that in this world to many people either see those different then them in a dark light or they may fear them. I fear what would happen if such feelings permeated everyone within the world.

This is why I decided to focus on to communities that got together and decided through interacting with each other that there not so different. I am the son of two devoted partners of Heartsong church, and I have enjoyed witnessing the growing friendship that has sprouted between Heartsong and the Memphis Islamic Center (MIC).

In my blog I will discuss all that I have been blessed to witness, as well as how the relationship started. I will also talk about all of the wonderful things that have come about because of this neighborly friendship. One interesting one was that for a project Heartsong and MIC are working together on they enlisted the help of U of M architecture students.

I do not promise that everyone will enjoy what I have to write, or that I know the most about what I'm talking about. However if you bear with me I will do my best to provide what I believe to be a an important step in allowing peace through out the world
